   1890 directory: 16 Alfred St. Masonic Lodge No.10 Christopher Todd, house steward
   The Will of William M'Murray late of Hill Hall County Down Farmer who died 25 December 1890 at same place was proved at Belfast by Henry Hunter of No. 44 Duncairn Gardens Antrim road Belfast Builder and Christopher Todd of No. 16 Alfred-street Belfast Mercantile Clerk the Executors.
   1901- boarder Christopher Todd, 65, Co.Down, commercial clerk, not married. Also Wm L Todd - http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Antrim/Court_Ward/Trinity_Street/934890/.
   Belfast Newsletter, 8 May 1905: TODD- May 7, at his residence, 9, Trinity Street, Belfast, Funeral private. No flowers. W.L. Todd.Christopher Todd
   Administration (with the Will) of the estate of Christopher Todd late of 9 Trinity-street Belfast Clerk who died 7 May 1905 granted at Belfast to William Leck Todd Warehouseman.

William Leck Todd (c1851 Co.Antrim-25 Apr.1932)
   "when John Todd married Elizabeth McCammond in 1883, one of the witnesses was a 'William Lackie Todd'."

I think a mercantile clerk did the books / accounts of any kind of trading business.

HI, I recently had a male DNA test from a Descendnat of Robert Todd b 1858 Belfast that showed his family had origins in the Ballyalbanagh/Cogry region of Co Antrim.   I'm encouraging anyone searching for their Todd roots to do a male DNA sample and compare with the database of several hundred Todd DNA samples in the Family Tree DNA Todd Project.

Would you have any interest in that?

Would you have any suitable cnadidates i.e. male Todds desc from male Todds.
