Storey—Hood.—At St. Peter's Church, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, by the Rev. C. A. Raines, M.A., John Storey, of that town, to Jane Ann, only daughter of the late George Hood, of South Shields.
[George Hood, Master Mariner, of South Shields, died off the North Danish coast in 1840]
I have found out John Storey, born Newcastle upon Tyne, was a Landscape and Architectural Artist in Water Colours. They lived at 76 Lovaine Place Newcastle upon Tyne.
After the death of John Storey, the Brother of Jane Ann Storey (nee Hood), George William Hood born South Shields, a Bachelor, went back to live in her house at 76 Lovaine Place, Newcastle upon Tyne.
In 1911 George William Hood had completed about 1 year of Marriage and his Wife was Elizabeth. Grave stone calls her, his Beloved Bessie.
The Wife of George William Hood seems to be Elizabeth Davidson, marriage Dec Qtr 1909 (not seen, not checked).
