I need an address from the electoral roll but I don't know how to search it, can someone guide me please?

If they have opted out you won't be able to find them. You can opt out of the ‘open register’ - the version of the register that’s available to anyone who wants to buy a copy.

The 2001 electoral register is the last full roll available, so if anyone has opted out after that the address shown is that from 2001.

Some people who have opted out (for one reason or another)  still find that they are listed on that online web site

As I said people are shown from the 2001 electoral roll, as I am, even though I opted out after that. Addresses are from that year, I have checked other people I know and their addresses are from 2001, fifteen years ago, and they are no longer at that address.
