I am trying to trace when Wasyl arrived in England and any other infomation about him . He was born 28th May 1928 in Davyd Belarus . He married in Middlesbrough in 1951 and that is about the only information I have.

Buying a copy of his marriage cert will (hopefully) give you his fathers name and occupation.

Can you confirm he is now deceased? No deaths shown for him or his wife up to 2007

Have you asked his children for info?  Children born 1952 and 1957

It is for the 2 sons that I am trying to trace Wasyl . He would not talk about his past and yes he died in 1990 . They are trying to get a copy of the marriage. We just have no idea when he came or his history.

1990 death reg shows birthyear as 1918 - not 1928

Have you looked for him on the 1939 register to see if he was in England at that time?

The 1939 register was a sort of mini census taken before the outbreak of war.  If you Google it - lots of info but only available by subscription on FindMyPast
