Balme siblings of Midgely, Halifax

There are two apparent siblings on the Yorkshire Bishop's Transcript of Baptisms for 1812. Ellen, recorded as being born on August 19th and baptised on October 18th and George born on October 10th and baptised on December 27th. Both these infants were illegitimate and born to a  Hannah Balme.

My feeling is that they were both born to the same mother but that separation of birth dates has me puzzled as the implication is that they were both born in 1812.

Anyone any thoughts on this or is it simply down to inaccurate transcription?

Hi the only difference between the two is Ellen had Hannah residing in Warley and George had Hannah residing in Midgley, but both Luddenden St Mary

The entries I'm looking at are both from Midgley unless I'm very mistaken. Where did you pick up Warley?

Hopefully I've managed to attach the two relevant images.

 :) Look good to me, transcription on another site gives Warley but as you have the original baptisms don't know where they obtained Warley?

Ha, you had me worried for a moment - thought I'd made a fundamental error of misreading - wouldn't be the first time! :D

Maybe the transcriber was well into their second glass of wine!

Nope, though maybe a couple of glasses of wine in 1812 when the transcripts were being written could be a reason...just saying.
