Francis Evans

I am trying to find a Francis Evans believed to have been born in Bridgend Glamorgan S Wales abt 1946 to a Frederick James Evans b 1918 also in Bridgend Glamorgan who married an Irish girl (unfortunately I don't know her name) from Belfast around the end of the War not known if they married in Belfast or South Wales
After Francis was born, the couple divorced and the Irish girl returned to Belfast taking Francis with her
Frederick James Evans remarried in 1949 in Bridgend and his son from his second marriage Roger Evans who still lives in the area would very much like to find his half brother
I hope very much that somebody may know something that can help me

GRONI has Northern Ireland marriages available to view online but only those 75+ years old. If they married in England there will be pay sites like Ancestry or Find My Past that will have marriage indexes but since you don't seem to know the bride's name it might be impossible to know if you've found the right couple.

Sorry about that I will remember about it in future I have searched on all the sites that deal with England and Wales with no results which makes me feel that both the marriage and the birth of the  son took place in Belfast
Do you know of any sites where you can search for living relatives
I have registered with Groni but have not found anything there either

I know it’s been years from the original post and I am not sure if this is the same family or just a weird coincidence but if it is, I’m Francis (Frank) Evans granddaughter and if we are related I can confirm they married in Belfast. Please message me you might just have helped me with a genealogy brick wall I just came to lol

Is it this one from the marriages column of the Belfast Telegraph of 17 May 1946?

EVANS-DOUGAN- April 20, 1946, at St. Matthew's Parish Church, Belfast, by the Ven Archdeacon J. R. McDonald, M.A., FRANK EVANS, R.A., third son of Mrs. Evans and the late Mr. T. Evans, Swansea, South Wales, to LILY, second daughter of Mrs. E. Dougan and the late Mr. C. Dougan, Brookmount Street, Belfast.

Which I think reads across to the folk in the following grave at Belfast City Cemetery:

The Francis (Frank) Evans in my family was born around 1944, don’t know a lot about my grandads life but my granny that he was married to isn’t the lady mentioned in the article. His mother was called Mary

Thank you for getting in touch this is not my family I did the tree for a friend, he told me about his half brother Francis Evans who had an Irish mother from Belfast the father Frederick J Evans may or may not have married in Belfast I think she came over to Wales with him but later went back Ireland with Francis divorced and although his father sent money for Francis the family here eventually lost touch
