That book has just come out in paperback btw
http://www.irishgenealogynews.com/2016/08/royal-irish-constabulary-officers-1816.html

This book is excellent but it does not list all members of the RIC. It lists the Officers, in the military sense of Officers and other ranks. So it’s a list of all the Sub-Inspectors and above. It does not list any lower ranks (save where someone has come up through the ranks to Inspector).

Have you thought about joining the facebook page - Royal Irish Constabulary 1816-1922.  There are a lot of knowledgeable people in this group.   It is a closed group.
