Hello, I am researching Harriet Ann Radford b: abt 1857 Bentley, Surrey, England. She married Thomson Hall b: 1852 Newton, Midlothian Scotland in 1879 I believe. I was wondering if anyone had any information on Harriet or her family.
Your help is very much appreciated. I have tired looking in the 1861/1871 census with no luck. I know the family started out in England but moved to Scotland after their third child in abt 1882.

Any information is appreciated,

Harriet and Thomas marriage registered in Alton Hampshire in 1878

A birth registered in Alton Hampshire for a Harriet Ann Ratford and a record for the baptism of Harriet Ann Ratford, d/o Thomas and Harriet, 1 Mar 1857, in Bently Hampshire.

She is living with her parents and siblings in Bentley in 1861 & 1871.

Was Thomson named as Thomas on marriage reg and 1881 census (in Farnborough Hampshire - Thomas is mistranscribed as "Brother"(to head of household) when image reads "Boarder"

Thank you, for your help Jo & Suz...much appreciated ...I will look again Jo at the census...I did look but didn't find the family. But I appreciate the information you gave me.
Suz...it is Thomas...I make the spelling mistake....thanks for the info. I want to find out who Harriet Ann Radfords parents were and where did they live.

Do you remember what the parents names were? Maybe I could look for them.

Hi Isabel,

Her parents are Thomas and Harriet as per the baptism I gave earlier, they are all together as Ratford and Harriet Ann is called Ann, living in Bentley Hampshire.

Going to bed now but let me know if you still can't find them and I will look it up again.

Harriet is perhaps Ann Ratford aged 4 in 1861 living with parents Thomas and Harriet in Bentley.  She has siblings Thomas W. aged 8; Eliza aged 6; Fanny aged 2 and William aged 9 months.
