Nellie M and Marie A Pearson born Washington State abt 1914 and 1917

Hello

I am trying to find information on Nellie (Helen?) M and Marie A Pearson the dts of Edward Joseph Pearson and his wife Pauline (Pelazia) who were bn around 1912 and 1914 most likely Anacortes, Skagit Co, Washington.

I have them with their parents in both 1920 and 1930 but have been unable to find anything further.

Any help would be much appreciated.

There is a Washington birth record that I think is Nellie, but mistranscribed.

Mel Myrian Pearson, born 6 Mar 1913, Skagit, female, white, parents -  Ed Jo Pearson & Pauline Galatke

The Washington death index listed her as Nelle M Zurcher & says she died 9 Sep 1980 in Anacortes.

Thanks for that, it sounds quite likely, "Mel" could easily be "Nel" and "Myrian" is probably "Miriam" which was the name of one of her aunts. "Galatke" was written as "Golakta" in other records that I have found on Family Search.

I think her sister's date of birth is 11 Jul 1917, but I can't find any definite matches for her death.  Possible that she could be alive?

Do you have any obituaries for the parents or other siblings that might lead to a married name?

Marie's parents Edward Joseph and Pauline died in 1963 (Edward, no more details though) and 1955 (Pauline, possibly 8th Dec but again no more details), both in Washington and most likely Anacortes.

Of her siblings Edward J bn 11th Sep 1906 died 1963 San Francisco.

Marshall Anthony bn 12th Oct 1907 but I haven't found his death

Nell Miriam bn 6th Mar 1913 possible death Sep 1980.

I haven't any obituaries, wills etc for any of the family to give any clue as to who Marie might have married.

The whole family is buried in Grand View Cemetery.

Edward J in the 1900 census with parents & siblings before moving to Washington State.

The listing for Grand View Cemetery on Find A Grave appeared to have been entered based on the burial records for that cemetery. Those records are limited and give no other information. Basically all they give is where and when some was buried. NOTE: Dates given are burial dates, NOT the actual DOD. This is why I believe the DOD for Marie  21 June 2008 and the date listed on Find A Grave vary so much.

If you look up Nelle's name on the list you will notice under middle name it has "M. Pearson".

Here is the obit for Edward J in 1963. It confirms Nell's married name as Zurcher and Marie's as Archbold. It also indicates that Marshall is living in Portland, Oregon as on 1963.
