Nellie M and Marie A Pearson born Washington State abt 1914 and 1917

Thanks to all for replies, just working my way through them.

One thing I noted is the death of Marshall Anthony Pearson in 1978, Oregon. This seems to tie him in with an Esther Pearson whereas I have Marshall in the 1930 census living anacortes with wife Marie A (who I believe to be Marie A O#Malley) and son Jack; and in 1940 wife wife Marie A and 4 children living San Francisco. Perhaps somebody could clarify this?

So far I haven't been able to find the marriages of:-
Edward J Pearson and Ada L E Herrle (abt 1937)
Nell Miriam Pearson and .....Zurcher
Marie Allatt Pearson and John E Archbold

I am unable to see the obituary for John E Archbold (  https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QVPT-JM9Q) as I do not have a subscription for the site (GenealogyBank.com.)

So far I haven't found the following in the 1940 census:-

Marie Allatt Archbold (Pearson) and John E Archbold
Nell Miriam Zurcher (Pearson)

Nellie married Edwin Zurcher in San Francisco on 11 Apr. 1931 - http://www.cityofanacortes.org/Museum/1929_1934_ANACORTES_NEWS_CHRONOLOGIES.pdf

It looks like Edwin died in 1950 - https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:VPD6-D2G  The funeral home record lists him as married and his wife as Nell.  It also has a copy of his obit, but it doesn't seem to mention his wife.

All the information on Edwin Zurcher is correct, death records etc all found in California, it looks as though he and his wife were separated by then and she was living Mt Vernon, Washington. Edwin now found in censuses for 1910, 20 and 30 but not 1940 as yet. Otherwise that part of the family almost complete.

Still looking for any more confirmation to when Marshall Anthony Pearson died.

The Oregon death index lists her as Esther Viola Pearson and her spouse as Marsha (probably Marshall cut off)

She is on an obituary index here - http://obits.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/obit.cgi?Surname=PEARSON%2C%20Esther%20(PEAVEY)&type=Keyword

Her Social Security application says her name was listed as Esther Viola Pearson as of Nov. 1968, so she was married to Marshall by then.

I wonder though if Marshall's wife was Marie and she died and then he married Esther? The 1940 census has Marshall with a dt called Marcia, could this be the Marcia Rodriguez that appears in  https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QV5R-YVFT. Another name in that link is Gail Brown, dt. Could this person also be on the 1940 census, a name I can't read very well looks like "Jill" but it could possibly be "Gail"?
