McLatchie family of Paisley

I know this lady's age is a bit out but has she been ruled out - https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:VB7M-K11

The entry from 1841 Census gives a year of birth 1796, this lady gives 1801 . But when have ages been accurate ?! Just seems a coincidence that there is a Grace McLatchie in Paisley in 1861.

Certainly a possibility, Looby 

The transcript shows her a ladies nurse at the Holms household in Renfrew Rd Sandyford, Abbey Burgh. This Grace shows as born in Abbey Parish.

The original image for this entry might throw more light on this Grace by confirming her marital status maybe.

I often wonder if widows who were working especially as domestic servants or in a position like a ladies nurse would be economical with the truth about their age. Losing their job for being considered too old would mean no money and no home.

And here is Grace's death at the grand age of 92 in 1890. The informant, a Janet Murray, nurse, did not know the name of her parents:

So Grace outlived Hall by 62 years 

I'm quite sure that must be her on 1861 Census .

Very likely her in 1861 you would think. This is the one I thought might be her in 1841 https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:VYZ6-Q4M 

So, she is still to be found in 1851/71/81

I've been looking for information about this family for a while. There were quite a lot of McLatchies in Old Cumnock, Ayrshire, and several of them were stonemasons. my GGG-grandmother Janet McLatchie https://familytrees.genopro.com/bonjedward/terkelanderik/McLatchie-Janet-ind00742.htm married a Thomas Hamilton, stonemason. Their children all ended up in Paisley. Their sons, Hall Hamilton, and Hugh Hamilton were stone masons and successful businessmen there. The first name Hall was popular in this family - there were 6 of them over 3 generations in Paisley. I'm guessing this combination the first name Hall, the McLatchie connection, and the many stonemasons means the families are related to Hall McLatchie.

I have also been wondering about the name Hall. I have not been able to find my ggg grandfather (James) Hall McLatchie's birth record or parents. I thought Hall could possibly be his mother's surname. Ivey McClatchie married a Mary Hall in Dalrymple (south west of Cumnock) in 1777, but can only find children named Janet/Jennet, Margaret and Sarah. Hall was born around 1781.
