I am trying to find information regarding my uncle Charles Edward Hardy born 1941 in Stockton, durham, his father Charles Edward Hardy was married to Mary Taylor. Charles Junior I believe but not sure, was in the forces and again not sure if he died at the age of 24yrs in 1965 was a result of injury?? I know there was the Aden Conflict, 1964-1967,,, Indonesia Conflicts, 1960-1966,,, Ugandan Army Mutiny (1964)-- not sure what reg he was in, again only have memory. My Uncles Charlie was the eldest of 4 children, anyone who could help fill in would be most grateful, I have his birth and death dates, his headstone location, he is buried with his father Charlie and mother Mary.

This one would fit with the information given in the original post

June 1965  Durham S.E vol 1a pg 580
Charles E Hardy 24 yrs

The death certificate would help with the cause of death.
