...from ancestry telling me how my Dna is being analysed. Is this sign that it is nearly done or just to keep me going for another couple of weeks?

Yup! The longest part is the wait for it to start processing. They process them in batches so they wait for a certain number to come in. Once the processing starts mine have never taken longer than 2 weeks.

I got my results on Sunday Chapuys  ;D It seemed to take forever but was about a month from them receiving it and posting my results.
Now feeling a bit swamped by all the now information I have. Chatted to a couple of cousins already, one 3rd and one 4th so, good results so far  :D
