Deciphering information in POW records

Albert Patchett was taken prisoner on March 8th 1942 and was a POW in Changi POW camp from 13th February 1943. I have found 5 records on the Find My past website. He died on 22nd August 1943 and is buried in Changi Cemetery.

One of the records says QVL 5.5.43.....does anyone know what this refers to?

Parties transferred from Singapore Overland.

OVL = Overland; OVS = Overseas

From The National Archives:
