Fascinating map - shows that Jubilee Street (where I used to live) was just being built, and the village I now live in didn't really exist!!

You can even do them side-by-side  :D If you use your cursor to drag one map across, the other one follows suit  :D

Just thought I'd report back that the name of the school I was looking for was Bilton County Infants School. I found it on the Warwickshire's Past Unlocked website, which lists all the records available at the CRO. I'm going to the Records Office next week to have a look at the info they have on the school.

Yes, it was Bilton County Infants School. When I went to the County Records Office, I found some registers from the school, which had my mum and uncle listed. There were also books which were almost like diaries, and detailed things like when the pigswill man visited etc. There's a Facebook group and I found a photo of the school on there - I'll try and message you.

This is the image I showed my dad and he said it wasn't on the road there was a grass area and playground in front and the doors were at the back of the school with just windows to the front.on the old map I've attached it clearly shows the school off the main road which would be correct to what my dad is saying. I'm very confused.
