1850 Slaters Directory for Cirencester

Basket & Sieve Makers
PAISH, Charles & Sons (Wireworkers) Gloucester Street

also on the net

Charles PAISH - ran the Duke of York Gloucester Street, Cirencester, 1847 and 1849 - which is No. 53 and photograph on the Pub site.

---

Looking at the Gloucestershire Records Office Genealogical Database

There is an Overseers Report for a Richard POULSON of Stroud 1795.

One for Susannah PAISH 1822 - Bisley
There is a George PAISH aged 10m - buried at Bisley - 27 February 1825 - residence: Grays.

Just one PAISH buried at Bisley - son of George & Susanna PAISH - christened 9 May 1824

and and Overseers report for Charles PAISH - basketmaker, Cirencester

Worth checking for other info....

? Where there any witnesses to the marriage of Charles & Susanna in 1802 - always useful to see family groups.

Looking at the Forest of Dean Family History Records i.e. Gloucestershire Marriage Allegations etc.

Daniel POULSON 27 February 1802 aged 23, Bachelor occupation: Sheerman of Kingstanley married Deborah IRELAND aged 23 single woman by Licence at Kingstanley

On the 19 July 1824 at Stroud ....

Deborah POULSON widow - married James SMITH - by banns.

---

Did go through the names of the children of Charles & Susanna - but as Charles' father was Daniel - it's difficult to know if there is any connection.

---

?

Gloucestershire Burial Index from 1813 at Kings Stanley

Mary POULSON aged 82 of Stanley End 19 January 1836
Thomas POULSTON aged 94 - 9 November 1851
