Thank you so much for your prompt reply and research is there any way of finding out if he married, had family etc and when and where he died?
Have also tried your trace his fathere Patrick and sister Mary to see what became of them all but had limited success!

There is a manifest marking above Michael on the passenger list - it could be 23 - if that was correct - he may have been naturalized in Los Angeles.

Oh wow a photo is absolutely marvellous, not sure of Michaels mothers name will have to check what info I already have but this is wonderful thank you Sandra and RJ this is just amazing in so short a time.
