Butlins of Rothwell brick wall !!

hi all i am looking for some information regarding the parents/maybe grandparents (if im lucky  ;D ) of my 4th great grandfather John Butlin born in 1799 Rothwell if you can help please i have seen two different possible fathers William Butlin and a Joseph from different sources now getting a little confused  :-\

Do you have John on the '41 census?

The one I'm looking at has wife Anne and his first son named Joseph, then Thomas, John, Roland and Samuel.  Daughters, Ann, Elizabeth and Mary

There is a Rothwell near to where I live in Northants, and I know there's one in Yorkshire.

Can you tell us which Rothwell your family come from please.

hi all thanks for your replies John were born in Rothwell , kettering Northamptonshire uk  :) i have checked every single option census possible just getting nowhere

What was your John's occupation?

 i havent been able to find any further information regarding siblings , John were married to Anne Barlow they had 4 children Joseph , Thomas , Rowland and Samuel , sorry to be vague with my info i am new to this  :)

Well is looks like it's them on the '41. John, son's Joseph and Thomas are masons by trade. Two of the girls are Lace makers.

Also in Pudding Bag Lane ( I love the name  ;D) the is Joseph Butlin aged 75 (born 1776), Hannah aged 50, Joseph 15.

I'm thinking John's father maybe?
