R.W. Penman married Jessie Rae in 1922....they were divorced in 1929 (after he had moved to Canada & she still lived in Scotland).

Does anyone know what happened to him, did he remarry, did he have children?

Arriving 1922 on the Metagama -  Uncle Mr Thomas Wright Box 137 Michel British Columbia. Nearest relative in Country from whence came was Mrs Jessie Penman Greenfield Place, Waterloo Wishaw.

Canadian Passenger List - Thomas Wrightborn 1883 Wishaw Scotland - aged 45 years - travelling Greenock to Saint John New Brunswick arriving 15 December 1928 on the Duchess of Bedford. Thomas had been in Canada 1919 - 1926  Also travelling his son Robert Wright aged 15 years - had Michel BC. Brother L Wright Bell Street Wishaw.

The L Wright was a brother Lewis Wright who appears on that 1891 census. Agnes was Agnes Wright who appears on the 1901 census with the Wright family
