Stockport Heritage have the registers in their archives
Ollersett View North Western Mental Hospital.... unfortunately the register of deaths only go up to 1974.
They also hold the general register and the visitors book but ending in 1964 and 1961 respectively they're too early to be of much use to you either
It could still be worth sending an email or paying a visit, they might be able to tell you if and where any later registers are held.
