Kenchington - Scaffel

I am looking for information on Edwin John Kenchington - born c 1855 in Jersey.  Parents are probably Henry Kenchington and Sarah Scaffel.  A Robert Kenchington was born to these parents on 24 Apr 1849 and baptised on  13 May 1849 in St Helier Parish.

Edwin became a seaman and settled in South Australia, dying in 1927.  I have his Australian details including marriage and children. Father named on marriage certificate as Henry.

Any information on his birth and parents would be greatly appreciated, including where to locate information.

1851 for Jersey - all born England except Robert.  Note mother is Susan - not Sarah

At the moment I can only find an 1871 entry for daughter Elizabeth who is still in Jersey and shown as a domestic servant aged 18

Henry Kenchington died on Dec 29th 1864 of TB and Susan Cavel then married a George Rowden. Henry was 48 years old and according to the funeral director's records was buried in the same grave as his brother William,  who was buried on Sept 6th 1864. Also buried there were Henry and Susan's daughter Fanny who had died of TB on Sept 18th 1863 aged 13 years 11 months. On May 26th 1866 they were joined by Henry Jnr who had died of the same disease, aged 26.
Susan died on June 17th 1907 at the age of 88 years and 11 months. The entry reads, ' Susan Cavel widow of Mr Henry Kenchington and of Mr George Rowden'

Edwin's birth was registered in the parish of St Saviour between 1849 and 1850.

Sarah married John Sohier Gallichan between 1871 and 1881, in 1901 her mother Susan is living with her.
