When I preview this post there is no photo attached so I hope it appears when I post. If it doesn't could someone please explain what I am doing wrong.

Is there a better scan of this photo, its very dark - and hard to bring out any detail.

Hi, this is a poor copy / scan of a photograph I was sent of my Grandfather when he was a colliery blacksmith, if you wish you could do whatever you wish to try to make it better.
