Antoni Melzer from Prussia who immigrated to Australia 1855

Wondering if you’ve found any other info on our great+ grandfather, Antoni Melzer. (I think I have corresponded with you several years ago however I cannot find the emails.)

In 2019 I spent some time in Hamburg Germany with the objective of finally getting to the bottom of finding out Antoni’s origins.
My research again hit brick walls, with one institution, the BallinStadt Hamburg Emigration Museum, requesting a copy of my research as it was much more comprehensive than their records.

Another question I cannot find an answer to, is –
“what Antoni was doing in his first six years in Australia?”
i.e. from his arrival 26 April 1855, (where did he live, work, etc? ) until he turned up in Gundagai 08 February 1861 for his wedding.

have a look at this tree - We don't KNOW - but I think it is possible that Antoni and Johanna Julianne were related - Antoni goes to Australia in 1855 - Johanna is having children in Australia at the time .
anyway - have a look - you might recognise some detail
