hi
im looking for some information regarding this person She is on the 1901 census living with Ralph Wildig from Cheshire his wife Lavenia nee Limming and his Family in lymington hampshire or possibly shirley southampton
she is down as their adopted daughter and her birth place is London
when she gets married to a John Hagerty she says her parents are John and Mrs Holdaway
we cant find anything to collabrate this .. we have looked for birth details from all over from london to hampshire but cant find anything

Is she with the Wildigs in 1891?

First, where did the second name Mary come from?   In 1901 she is plain Annie and she married John Hagerty as plain Annie too in 1912.

What happened after her marriage in 1912?    Where/when did she die?

She's not with that family in 1891.

Are we somehow getting confused with the Annie Mary Holdaway who is married in Portsmouth  :-\

Probably not but don't have her on any census apart from 1901.

Kind of stuck - do you have an occupation for her father on the marriage?

Ok there's a copy of the marriage cert on a family tree and it gives no father for Annie.

One of the witnesses is Blanche Wildig.

From the marriage onwards the tree gives children born in Ireland and husbands birth and death in Ireland to save us looking in England. 

Also says Annie born 7 Jan 1887 Basingstoke Hants from a Catholic marriage record and a Catholic baptism record from 1913.  Interesting.

Also says the most likely parents for her are Thomas Dear and Emma Holdaway.

Ok her great grand son has a letter stating she put her parents as John and Mrs holdaway ( need to clarify this info ) also has her as Annie Mary ~ she married John in Ireland.

 And yes sorry not 1891 but 1901 census she was living with them .

Will look for info regarding the info about Thomas dear and Emma holdaway would u think she was Illegitimate then ?
