1842 Will
« on: Friday 03 June 16 12:47 BST (UK) »
I have been transcribing a family will from 1842 and after four pages my eyes have had enough! Could anyone please perhaps help decipher the words in the photo attached - miraculously the only ones I haven't cracked! The will is that of Charlotte Santiero and can be found at http://interactive.ancestry.co.uk/…/40611_309619-001…/75928…

This is a bit difficult without seeing the words in context but a couple to start:

First word top left : dispose
Third word : successors
Fourth : the Consols
Seventh : mentioned , In

I'm sure someone else will "see" others.
Edit : sixth word down : ends

Hi Elaine

As CB53 says it's tricky without context. Could you give a few words either side of the missing words and the page a line number so they can be found more easily? This PCC Will is quite long.

Ninth word on left " real ".

I'm finding it very difficult to locate the words - as Venelow says some line numbers would help.

Left column:

First word is dispone.  This is apparently a word of Scottish Law.

Second word is me plus a line fill character which should be ignored.

Fifth is which an.  (I reserve the right to change my reading in case I see the context.)

Eighth is opens.  (I reserve the right to change my reading in case I see the context.)

Thanks for those few words so far.  The will is for Charlotte Santiero, posting the link again- http://interactive.ancestry.co.uk/5111/40611_309619-00185/75928?backurl=http://person.ancestry.co.uk/tree/50486206/person/13100810068/facts/citation/120273374975/edit/record

I have done 'snips' in the hope that this will help - can't get them to attach at the moment.  Error message says there is already a file with that name!  I'll keep on trying
