There is a death for a Richard Blower in St Luke (Jun qtr 1852, 1b 340).  No age given so it  might need further investigation.

ETA - that death might be the Richard Blower bap at St Lukes in Dec 1837.  (Born Feb 27th 1837)

Thank you everyone. Seems like some siblings for Martha/Emma now which is great. Spent the day trying to find a trace of Richard Blower or James Luxford on 1841 census or possible baptism records but no luck yet. I'll post if I find anything.

Hi two things, wish I could locate ie marriage for James to Mary Ann also registered births of children!?

James could be in 1841 Census

William Luxford 1796
Mary 1816
JAMES 1826
John 1831
George 1841
Residing at Normans Buildings, St Luke
Census ref HO107/668/ 6/39 / 12
They are Shoemakers I believe?!

PS why does James Edward b 13th September 1846 become apparently Thomas in 1861?

EDIT

1851 census

William Luxford 61 occ Shoemaker
Mary 37 wife b Suffolk
George 7
Esther 3
John 21 occ Shoemaker
Residing Hall Place, St Lukes
Census ref HO107/1521/178/34

EDIT found a James Luxford 1860 St Luke's birth

Possible marriage for William Luxford :-

10th April 1843 St Giles without Cripplegate

William Luxford Widower occ Shoemaker Father William occ Hatter
Mary Cook Spinster Father Edward Cook occ??
Both residing Halls Place
One of the witnesses was an Elizabeth Luxford

That looks really hopeful. The 1841 census gives william and Mary as possible parents and maybe James isn't on the 1851 census with the family group as he had moved on. The sibling john tallies. Thank you so much. I can't believe how kind people are being and time you are giving up to help me research this

;D Looking at the age of Mary 1841/51 doubt she could be the mother of James, remember William was a Widower at marriage!

PS the George Luxford in 1841 looks to have died September qtr 1842 St Lukes v2 page 197 so would suggest as there's another George in 1843/4 to the newly married couple his name must be significant?

EDIT George Edward Luxford September qtr 1843 St Lukes v2 page 246

Possible death George Edward Luxford September qtr 1869 Holborn 1b 479 aged 26

;D This side of your family is driving me nuts!!

The George Edward Luxford death above could possibly be the one who married a Louisa Maria Lewis 1st June 1867 St Bartholomew, Moor Lane Grooms Father William HENRY Luxford occ Shoemaker

Louisa Maria remarried a George Greenslade 25th December 1872 St Mark's Shoreditch as a Widow

Esther Luxford married an Edward Rhodes 2nd July 1867
Again father a William Henry Luxford
