Hi

Could any kind soul near Gt Budworth check a death for me for Mary BARBER? In theory, she died in 1810 and is in the graveyard, section 1 plot 328 according to FindAGrave. I'm hoping she's the daughter of James Percival, wife of Peter Barber.

Many thanks

PS If anyone needs some rooting around doing in the Leeds area am happy to help, it's just such a hike over to the Wirral.

the only Gt Budworth marriage for a Peter Barber I can find is to a Mary Hall in 1732 - so probably too early

do you know what year Mary Barber was born ??..it will help in the research

A dreadful image, but the 1810 burial for Mary is daughter of Joseph, and the only shows January.
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

A Mary Percival married a Peter Barber at Warrington (Lancs) 11 NOV 1806 this is only from indexes, so you might want to look at the original entry if you think this might fit. It wouldn't be that unusual for a Cheshire couple to marry in Warrington at this time.

Lancs OPC have the marriage entry 11 Nov 1806 St Elphin, Warrington, Peter Barber otp and Mary Percivall OTP ( she signed X) by banns witnesses Daniel Percivall and Susan Plant
