In1956 my father visited his cousin, who was a cook at Harcourt Manor in Theydon Bois. The house was owned by Sir Patrick Hennessey, Managing Director of Ford Motor Company. I have not been able to find this Manor in a google search and assume that the Estate may have had a name change. My father has Italian roots and his cousin's maiden name was Di Bartolomei. Can anyone help me to identify this estate. I am hoping when I do this that I can also find a photograph. Apparently my father was asked to help our at a function Sir Patrick was holding (wait staff), as he was short staffed. I think it was a way for my father to earn his keep whilst he was visiting his cousin. Any assistance would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks Schio
