Hi,
I'm sure I'm missing something obvious , just looking for a William Thompson baptism in the mid 1700's, William son of Henry (Henry of Knottingley - from Williams marriage).
Whilst browsing Ancestry's West Yorkshire parish record images I have found a baptism for William Thompson son of Henry on 10/5/1750 at Pontefract St Giles & St Mary, Henry recorded as from Knott.
Also on the same day 10/5/1750 at St Botolphs Knottingley there is a baptism for William Thompson son of Henry.
Would they be the same person having 2 baptisms on the same day or is there another reason?
I also think there are another two children of Henry Thompson recorded similarly at both churches, although I think Ancestry have them transcribed wrongly, errors with names and dates.
Many thanks & hope it makes sense.
Kev.
