Just saying hi

I'm researching a Turner family. My tree solidly goes back to potter John Turner of Lane End (now Longton) Staffordshire 1738 - 1787 married Ann Emery Breewood. (I have most of the later information)

From his sisters wedding (Sara Turner 1741 - 1804) in St Marys, Stafford I've found a witness Henry Turner. Researching that registry I find in 1757 a marriage of widower Henry S Turner to widow Prudence Sutton. From the marriage license I deduct the Henry was born abt 1717.

I am trying to find the identity of his first wife and any information on Henry as I believe he is the father of my John & Sarah.

Does any of this fit in with anybodies families??  It's not that far to Staffordshire.

Regards Rob
