Hi, I wonder if someone can help me.  I have found the marriage of Mary Ann or Marianne Bruce to Edward Vickers, could someone tell me the details, esp her fathers name and occupation and witnesses?  It is her fathers line that I am stuck on and need some help with and I want to confirm that I have the right link.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you  Jenny

Father John Bruce

John Bruce was a clerk.

These names ring a bell - am I right in thinking this is the Mary Ann Vickers who in 1851 is 39, b City Road, and that you already have her as baptised at St Luke's Old St in September 1813 as daughter of John Bruce (merchant's clerk) and Mary?

Hi, firstly thank you Lisa for the information, this does confirm the link and that I have the right Mary Ann, are there any witnesses??

Hello avm, I am abit confused as in 1851 I have Mary Ann Vickers living at 1 Barton Place, Camden Town, St Pancras....but you have 39b City Rd?? Could I ask where you have found this info so that I can check it out?.  Yes I have her baptised in 1813 at St Luke's as this was the only baptism that I could find that fits but I have never been able to check the original register to see the parents names.....

You can see it on Ancestry - indexed as Mary Ann Buice.

Thanks avm, I read it quickly and obviously misunderstood, yes she is one and the same.  Are you able to see any witnesses to the marriage on the record?  Thank you
