PARDOE TOTTENHAM
« on: Wednesday 20 July 05 18:36 BST (UK) »
I am trying to find the birth record of my grt grt grt Grandfather Henry Pardoe, born approx 1812/1813 in St Pancras or possibly Tottenham. The birth record was held at county hall westminster in the 60's, and i have looked at the parish records and also at the frc and cannot find a thing.
Henry was a chimney sweep married to harriet Stafford from walthamstow, they married in 1835 in Walthamstow.  They lived in north row tottenham in 1841 but i havent found them befor this date and i also want to find out who his parents/siblings were. He died at the almshouses in Tottenham having spent most of his life in Tottenham, he is also buried in white heart lane cemetary.
I just dont know what to do next could anyone help, i have been digging away at this for a few years and i am completely foxed.
Many thanks for reading this

Hi Chris

Welcome to rootschat!

Thought this name rang a bell - someone else on Rootschat has been researching for what looks like a similar/same family.

Here is one of the threads: http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,73677.0.html

You can also do a search, the big button - Search Rootschat - at the top of the screen for more instances.

Once you've checked to see what has already been found - you can let us know what else you might be looking for on the Pardoe family,.

Cheers
Jonathan
