William Patton, originally from Greenock, Scotland - last known Melbourne, Aus.

Hi,

I'm searching for any information regarding William Francis Shields O'Hara Patton, born in Greenock, Renfrewshire, Scotland circa 1933
Parents are
George Patton, born 1900, Letterkenny, County Donegal, Ireland,
And
Ann McMillan O'Hara, born 1904, Greenock, Renfrewshire, Scotland.

William emigrated to Melbourne, Australia a number of years ago and the family have unfortunately lost touch in recent years. William's wife was named Netta and he had a step daughter from the relationship.

If anyone has any information whatsoever or could point me in the right direction regarding Australian records and where I might find any information I would be sincerely grateful.

From ryerson index http://ryersonindex.net/ a Venetta PATTON died in NSW in 1990.   

The death notice doesn't mention husband.   I will post it anyway to see if you recognise the family.

I think Williams' wife is still at the same address in Morwell, at least the person living there has the same first initial, and Netta could be a contraction of that name.  I will PM you her details.

Sad news, we were hoping to reestablish contact as no one had heard from him in a number of years and we've just set up a family page.
Maybe I'll be able to track down his step daughter using the address info, unfortunately I know nothing about her.
