If Alexander went to the US then there is this on Familysearch.Org;
(Yes he did, see next post)

Alexander GLASS
Age 71, Widowed
Occp Elevator Operator
Birth: 1856 Ireland
Death:12 May 1928
Manhattan, New York, New York, United States
Burial: 14 May 1928 Westchester, Mount Hope Cemetery
Residence: 569 W. 184th St.
Parents John GLASS and Rose CUNARD
Parents both born Ireland

Slight variation in the parents on the USA entry of the death of Alexander. Spelling variation for Kinnaird to Cunard  ??? and Alexander is John.  Maybe the informant did not have the correct information  ???

Something for you to check out - Alexander Glass - born 1814 - Ireland passed away 1 March 1880 - Ballymoney, Antrim, Northern Ireland. Married Rose Kinnaird - 1841 - Diocese Down, Connor and Dromore. Rose Kinnaird - Born 1803 passed away 9 March 1897 - Ballymoney, Antrim, Northern Ireland

Sandra

IF the above dates on Rose Glass was correct - could the entry for Rose Glass - born about 1803 and passed away Jan/Feb/Mar 1897 Coleraine - volume 1 page 461 be correct on the Ireland, Civil Registration Deaths Index, 1864-1958  - rather than Ballymoney, Antrim shown on the ancestry tree  ???

The only entry I found so far for an Alexander was one born 1809 (so age out) and passed away Apr/May/June 1879 aged 70 years Ballymoney - Ireland, Civil Registration Deaths Index, 1864-1958 - volume 1 page 134.
