Hi, and welcome to RootsChat  :)

Can you please say which census year and give a location?

The name could be Renvoige. According to FamilySearch there are others of that name in the St Luke's/Shoreditch area of London.

It could be Renvoize.  (Somewhere in the depths of my memory I have come across this surname before)

Good call, Philip. Lots of Renvoize/Renvoise in that same part of London mentioned above.

Thank you all so much for your advice.  I am now researching this name!
Bookbox - this was taken from the 1891 Census, the area Danbrook Rd, Streatham

Would you know what 'Pool Terrace' means on a census as an address??  The family name Renvoize appears under this address along with loads of other families.  I have searched to find out what this means but it isn't clear
(sorry I am new to researching my family tree so I keep coming up with lots of questions)

Regards Hayley

Pool Terrace may be a run of terraced houses within a street.

Again, which census year, which county, which town, which district?

There's no need to apologise for asking questions -- that's what these boards are for. But for the best chance of getting a useful reply, please give enough information for others to find the reference.  :)

Pool Terrace is the name of the street.  Either the houses were not yet numbered or the census enumerator did not bother to write them down.  Therefore there is no clear way of telling if your Renvoize family occupied a whole house or part of a house.

All the best
Philip
