Jessie Ann Findley and Charles Dey - Scotland, 1938 ?

Is anyone searching for information on this married couple? - possibly 1938 - as I noticed someone is selling an old suitcase on ebay that is filled with old photos and paperwork, and it would be lovely if someone was actually looking for photos of these people, and a shame for someone else to just buy the case and throw the old things away. It's a long shot but I felt I needed to just tell people!

Charles Dey, son of Charles Dey and Mary Stuart, married Jessie Anne Findlay, daughter of John Findlay and Fanny Strachan, in Huntly on 30 December 1938.

Forfarian, with your parents info that you have added, have found a possible family link on a/try to Jessie Ann's family. The original 1911 shows at Woodside Cottage, Banchory Ternan, Kincandineshire:

John Findlay 35 Estate Labourer b. Aberdeenshire Kincardine xxx ( last bit not clear, as entered)
Fanny Findlay 29 born as John, husband. Married 10 years (not very clear), one child.
John Andrew Finlay 1 b. Newhills Aberdeenshire
Jessie Ann Strachan 13 niece b. as John and Fanny

There is a death entry for a Jessie Ann Findlay/Dey in Aberdeenshire which gives a possible birth year of 1918. There is a birth entry matching name and year on SP (outside the period where the image can be viewed online).

Charles' parents, Charles and Mary, look to have married in Aberdeenshire in 1914. There are two entries, one with Mary as STUART and the other as STEWART.
