« on: Sunday 01 May 16 11:54 BST (UK) »
Hello,
        Does anyone have access to Kinver parish registers please?

 I am looking for some dates connected to the Fitchett family. Baptism and Marriage.

 If so more details can be given.                      Thanks from Enots.

Kinver, St Peter registers are available on FindMyPast.  Perhaps your library, assuming you live in England, has access.

Saying that there is only one instance of Fitchett - a baptism in 1889.

Second addition - I believe that there is an offer currently for FindMyPast for £1 - see "The Common Room" thread.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

Thank you Bumble Bee for you reply.

     The 1899 reference must be my James Stephen Fitchett as he was born in that year. I do not have access to FindMyPast so I will try the Library.

That looks like the one, BUT it is the only entry for Fitchett at Kinver in baptisms, marriages and burials.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

A bit of a tangled web!

You may alraedy have all of this.

Emma CARTWRIGHT married Charles EVERTON, Reg Sept 1874, Bromsgrove, 6c 562

1881 she is with Charles, a Shoemaker, in Bromsgrove;

Charles Everton, 49
Emma Everton, 34
Sarah Ann Cartwright, 7
Charles Everton, 1

1891 she is with James;
James Fitchett, 30
Emma Fitchett, 43
Sarah Ann Everton, 17
Charles Everton, 11
James S Fitchett, 13 ( I presume should be age 3**)

Doesnt look like James F and Emma married to me.

Thank you Trish,

              Very helpful information. It fits in with my notes really well. I have never found any marriage either. Gosh, Emma had a eventful life too !!!

                                 Thanks               Enots.
