What bothers me about this is that the style and colour of the photo doesn't fit with a date of around 1908ish...the little boy doesn't look comfortable with his outfit almost like he is "dressed up" for the photo and it doesn't fit properly as you look at the sleeves...they are too short and if he was familiar with wearing a dress he would be more natural and at ease....The postcard has a divided back which was introduced in the UK in 1902 and there is no stamp box to help with the date unfortunately.
I am not convinced that this is early 1900s. Of all the postcards I have in my collection I don't feel that this has the look of an early 1900s postcard.
