Murrie
« on: Tuesday 19 April 16 11:46 BST (UK) »
I'm trying to trace a man with the surname Murrie (nicknamed 'Jock') who would have served in the army in WW2. Unfortunately I have very little information about him apart from being billeted in Sheffield in 1943, then Woking and then Glasgow all in the same year.

After that there seems to be no record matching.
Does anyone know of a way of checking what units may have been billeted in those three locations in 1943?

Try to find him on the 1939 national register, I suggest.
