Free Online Genealogy Course with FutureLearn (Week 6)

Interesting, I scrolled through the posts but must have missed it.

Mind you I can't be bothered to complete the course so have "left" it.  Personally, it shouldn't have been advertised as for all levels of researcher, as we all know.

I hope people fill in the Post Course Survey 6:18  as this is from Future Learn rather than the University. This gives an opportunity to give your opinion about the course.

I suspect you have to complete the course to see the Post Course Survey, as I've clicked leave in a bit of disgust at it, wasn't given the option.

Edit - aah, its letter me rejoin where I got to on Wk3, I suppose I should run through and then give them some post course feedback, although I suspect they'll not take much note of it since they won't accept any even slightly negative comments during the course.

Filled mine in already.

I must say though that I have just started the Hans Christian Anderson and find it far better than the genealogy one.  There is much more content, you won't just be able to zip through the week in a day or two. I have done some each day and am not finished yet.....

I've just enrolled for the Shakespeare  course, following a recommendation earlier on this thread. Looks a lot more to it, I think I'm going to struggle to keep up. Off to see the Hamlet production that's been round the world at the Globe on Saturday.

Although I was not impressed by this course I would like to thank those on rootschat who let us know it was running.  Having read previous comments on the Richard III  & Hadrians Wall courses we are aware that this FH course was far from what anyone was expecting.     

It does make you realise just how much information we can pick up and share here on rootschat without the need of a FH course.
