Fingers crossed that the next one I've signed up for (Food & Feasting) is going to be an improvement.  ;)

Just finished the course - got through the last part quickly as it was either advertising or repetition. I've also completed the feed back to FL and said it didn't live up to expectations.

I've been very disenchanted with the course.  I'm shortly repeating my own course on family history, and if I used the FutureLearn course as an outline syllabus, I doubt I'd have any students left by the start of the second class.

I really think that the genealogy course was aimed at folk just starting out who don't really know where to start or what you need to look for.  Looking at the comments are we the only ones who were disappointed??

The problem is all these gushing posts from people who say they have been researching for a lifetime and the information they have found out from this course has been a revelation. ??? ???

I would just like to, erm, thank you all for, erm, being with me via this, erm, board, to help me through the, erm, course.

I can't say that I've, erm, got very much out of it, except some DNA stuff that wasn't, erm, on the course itself, but from a link provided by a fellow, erm, participant.

Erm, see you around on other, erm, topics  ;)

Always looking for GOODWINS in Berkshire :)
