I've been following the course as well and it's been a bit up and down. A lot of it has been really quite basic and boring, the videos especially. Haven't watched the hangouts after the first one! I made some comments early on but realised there were so many participants that realistically very few people would read everything. I certainly couldn't! The last couple of weeks I have just read through the items very quickly. This week could be more interesting - I do need to become more organised!

Have done the first few of week six. Pretty basic still, but will see as we go along. There are not so many folk in the discussions anymore. Wonder if they have dropped out or just not bothering to post...

I've just had an email inviting me to join this week's Google Hangout, which is obviously going to be a plug for the Genealogy course which the University is running. No other course I've participated in has done this, they have just given links for anyone wanting to take it further.

Yes, I've had this as well now. I've done lots of previous FL Courses, but have never had one before either.

Gosh!! That seems a bit steep!

I'll put that on the back burner then

Mind you... I suppose that if I took out a Student Loan for it... I'd probably be long gone by the time they tried to recoup it!
