TV programme
« on: Friday 15 April 16 07:05 BST (UK) »
Can anyone help, please. A few weeks ago I stumbled across a TV programme about the descendants of three sisters in London.  They had been interviewed in the 19th century and their life stories were told by their descendants living today in England and Australia. At the end all living descendants met up. After the programme the announcer said there would be more episodes. But I cannot remember what it was called or what channel it was on to be able to find it on catch up. Did anyone else see it.

There are 4 programmes in the series.  If you go to www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b073lqfx/the-secret-history-of-my-family-1-the-gadbury-sisters, you'll see the 4 programmes listed.  They were quite interesting, but the format was similar, find a poor person from a previous century, find a rich one with whom there was some connection (do-gooder, etc) and follow their families.  As you would expect some of the descendants of the poor people became well off and vice versa.
