I have a marriage for Clotworthy Dobbin Devitt and Jane Buck at St Mary's Dublin 1816. Jane died in 1832 of Cholera 16/10/1832, leaving 10 children. At one time Jane was post mistress at Dunshauglin and Clotworthy was Assistant Postmaster General in Dublin, I believe he was with the post office for 17 years. One known address in Dublin was 4 Hamilton Row. I have managed to find 4 children by name and one by a newspaper birth announcement but only that the child was a daughter b.1827
Anna Maria b. 1823
John Furlong b.1824 ( my 2 x great grandfather)
Daughter b.1827
Alicia b.1831
Walter Worthy b.1832
According to the newspaper obituary for Jane, Walter would have been the child of 6 months at the time of her death.
The four children I have found were all living in the Midlands and can be traced from around 1841-1844
I am interested in tracing the other children, of course it is possible that some may have died after Jane's death in the Cholera epidemic in Dublin.
We have been searching since 2005 and we have come up with information from England but seem to have hit a dead end in Ireland
If Jane was 21 at her marriage, she would have been born around 1795 and from the English Census records, Clotworthy would have been born around 1790 in Antrim. I also know that Clotworthy's fathers name was James and he was stated as a Farmer.
Hopefully there may be a ancestry searcher who has some information for me

Regards
Maggie
