Hi All
Wondering how to track a "National Teacher" after the 1911 census?
I am trying to follow Alexander Moorhead born about 1860 in Co. Longford and his family.
But it seems "National Teachers" moved around the country, is that a correct assumption?

I have Alexander Moorhead & family on the 1901 living in Curraheen, Rosscarbery, Co. Cork
With wife Ellen and 1 year old son John and Ellen's mother Mary Kingston.
I have them on the 1911 then in Church Quarter, Granard Urban, Co. Longford
Between the 1901 and 1911, Alexander's wife Ellen presumably died and he remarried in about 1908 to an Elizabeth (They indicate they have been married 4 years on the 1911).
Also 3 more children were born to Alexander which I believe were all Ellen's.
James in abt 1902, Annie in abt 1904 and William in abt 1905.
I believe by 1925 Alexander Moorhead and his family were in Ballina, Co. Mayo? This from a ships record that I believe were his daughter Anne and son William heading to Toronto Canada in 1925.
What records can I tap into to track them after 1911???
I am interested in finding out what happened to his daughter Anne Moorhead
Thanks all
