Can anyone tell me what all the initials are on this Air Force record sheet of Gordon Oliver born 1898, he enlisted in 1915 when he left a Grammar School did one year basic and then went to University.

Thanks, Yes Shorncliffe was the military hospital he was in from 12-11-18 to 3-1-19  its the initials CDD, 8CW etc. I am struggling with.

8 C W ..... could that be a Cadet Wing ?  (so from a Cadet Depot to a Cadet Wing, and then to the Brigade Depot )

Thanks Matthew, that does help, he is 197442  L/C Gordon Oliver RE on the medical sheet with  a honorary 2nd Lte on demob statement, so this ties your two references to the same Gordon, so now I know his full home address.
Thank you JM  and Matthew for the interpretation of the initials, it all fits now.
His School leaving certificate gives him a place at Sheffield University but he enlists and has a term of basic training as a Cadet and then attends his university still as a cadet after which he is placed in the RE, do not know why he went into hospital but the flu epidemic had started at this time. Thanks again for the replies.
