Looking for details on Alec and Violet Waite who emigrated to Canada in 1930

I am looking for any information regarding my grandfather's sister Violet May Waite (Watkins) who emigrated to Canada in 1930 with her husband Alec Waite on a ship called the Minnedosa. It is also thought that her sister Harriet Watkins joined them and that they ran a hotel at Niagara Falls.

I have two addresses for them - taken from envelopes found on letters sent to my late father.  This is the one area of my family where I have hit a brick wall.

Occupation 1930 - Electrical engineer
Father: Josiah Waite
Mother: Rose Waite
Sibling: Margaret Waite

Violet May Waite (Watkins)
b.1910 Pontypool, Monmouthshire, Wales
Father: Frederick Watkins
Mother: Ann Watkins
Siblings: Arthur Watkins, Gladys May Watkins, Frederick David Watkins, James Watkins, Harriett Watkins

Known Addresses.
1450 Kitchener Street, Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada (1964)
205-21387 Best Street, White Rock BC V4B 4E3 (1990s)

It is thought that they had at least two children.

Violet's sister is thought to have possibly helped run the hotel with them, but this is just heresay.
Here are the details I have about her.

b.1906 Abersychan, Monmouthshire, Wales

The deaths only go up to 1993 so presumably Alec was still living.

1965 Niagara Falls motel prop.
1972 Niagara Falls retired
1974 St Catherines Ontario retired.
Not found in 1945, 1949 or 1953 lists.

The Canadian telephone directory database at Ancestry has entries for Alec Waite in White Rock, BC as late as 1995 and 1996.

You might want to try contacting the White Rock Public Library to see if there was an obituary for Violet in a local newspaper. http://www.whiterockcity.ca/EN/main/arts-culture/public-library.html
