Ancestry... Easter weekend
« on: Friday 25 March 16 11:35 GMT (UK) »
Maybe I've missed an announcement of a "free weekend" on Ancestry....

Looks like they're giving us an Easter treat!

That is a nice Easter treat, does Ancestry have up to date electoral registers as do FindMyPast?

I don't think so, but they have older electoral registers from London (up to 1965 I think), Surrey, West Midlands, West Yorkshire.... and probably some other areas I've forgotten!

Yet again, it leaves me wondering why bother with a subscription to the two major sites. It would be interesting to see just how many free or reduced days they give away during a year.

I'm with you there groom.... I've not subscribed to Ancestry for ages now, and every time they do a free weekend it just saves me money to spend on a SEAX subscription!
