From Findmypast  I have found the following marriage.

Grimsby Oct-Dec 1931 7A 1664
Albert O K Sutherland/Doris Cribb.

I will see if I can find the Albert Osmond Death and this marriage when I am next in the library, but may have to apply for the death and marriage certificate to resolve it for certain, if I cannot find anything.

Thank you for that, I am so grateful, as this is the stepson of my great grandfather Thomas Sutherland who was a marine engineer.  That's wonderful, thank you

Forgot to say he had odd middle names, as I think he was born Albert Cowie before his mother married Thomas Sutherland

I visited the library yesterday and checked the electoral rolls for Albert and Doris Sutherland.
They lived at the following addresses:-
1932 44 Montague Street, Cleethorpes Both
1933 70 Victor School, Grimsby.  Both
1934 80 Stirling Street, Grimsby. Doris Mabel Sutherland, George james Cribb, Mabel Henrietta Cribb Beatrice Elizabeth Cribb and Elsie Ellen Cribb
1935 6 St James Terrace, back 64 Victor Street, Grimsby.   Albert only
1936 6 St James Terrace, back 64 Victor Street, Grimsby.   Both
1937 82 Victor Street, Grimsby.  Both
1938 138 Tiverton Street, Cleethorpes.   Both
1939 1455 Tiverton Street, Cleethorpes.  Both

I cannot find any record of their burials locally
I do not know if this of interest and whether the Cribb family mean anything
