Robert M Boyd b Ayrshire d 23.6.1973 in Stevenson, married 15 Dec 1890
Mary Whiteside b 1889  Ayrshire, d 13.02.1945 Stevenson,

Think marriage date is wrong - Mary would only have been 1yr old at that time

When and where was Robert born?
Where was Mary born?

Have you downloaded a copy of their marriage cert to get parents names?

whoops, i got it wrong there, getting the marriage certificate next,

sorry i don't know where either were born, i know there death dates as i have visited their grave in Killwinning

Did their gravestone not show Robert's age at the time he died?

Probably best to wait until you check their marriage cert for parents names

There is only one 1901 entry for a Robert M Boyd - b 1889 born and living in Kincardineshire, Glenbervie with parents Robert Manon Boyd and Mary Falconer Boyd

Robert Manon Boyd was Minister Of Glentervie U F Church

Carole, that possible Robert with a birth year of c. 1889, the death in 1973 in Ayrshire shows a birth year of c. 1890. Looks a good option

There is one marriage for a Robert Boyd and a Mary White* in 1913. A possibility?

Tracy, the death you mentioned for Mary Whiteside/Boyd is showing in 1946 on SP. Birth year c. 1890.

As Carol mentions, we need to confirm parents' names for Robert and Mary from their marriage or death certs.

The Robert Boyd born 1889 in Kincardineshire, son Robert Masson Boyd and Mary Falconer. Likely not him if the family material for this group is correct, showing his death in 1918 not long after he married a Janet Playfair.
